Teaching credit courses in CCBB/SIT/SCIS
- Bioinformatics and Bioistatistics for M.Sc (2017-2020) for SCMM- JNU.
- Biological Sequence analysis and algorithms for M.Sc (2016 – till date) SCIS-JNU.
- Jointly taught Pre-Ph.D course on (i) “Computaional biology “ (2010-2015) and “Information theory and Molecular biology (2012-2015).
- Taught Genome- I and Genome II (2007 -20015) (eight years) independently and jointly with Dr. Andrew Lynn.
- Taught “Computational methods in sequence analysis” for M.Tech programme jointly with Prof. Alok Bhattacharya ( 2006 - one semester).
- Taught “Bioinformatics–I” for the Advanced Post Graduate Diploma Programme jointly with Prof. Alok Bhatacharya (2002-2005).
- Taught a course on Bioinformatics for M.Sc students (School of Life Sciences, JNU) jointly with Prof. Alok Bhattacharya (2 years).
- Taught “Computer Applications in Biology” for M.Sc students (Centre for Biotechnology, JNU) independently from 1995 to 2002.
Academic Achievements/Awards/Honours
Awarded Fulbright Professional Fellowship to visit Laboratory of Experimental and Computational Biology, National Cancer Institute, NIH USA for six months in the year 2001-02.
